First Aid

We had another talk to prepare!

First Aid kits have many important tools that we use to keep us healthy. If we fall down and scrape our knees, a band-aid helps to stop the bleeding. There is also medicine to help headaches and a quarter for emergencies when we need to make a phone call to our parents.

Like a physical First Aid kit, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a spiritual First Aid kit. There are many tools in the church that keep us spiritually healthy. We have a loving prophet to help guide us and give us direction from Heavenly Father. We also have the Book of Mormon to teach us about the gospel,and the Holy Ghost to warn us about possible dangers and to help us gain understanding. There is even a way for us to talk to Heavenly Father! It's called prayer and we can pray to him any time that we need to.

If we use the tools that Heavenly Father's given us, like the Holy Ghost, prayer, the prophet's council, and the Book of Mormon, then we will be spiritually healthy and can grow even closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus.
